Gillian Explore Map: Safari in Yala National Park , seems a collectible card game

Yala National Park , which is Sri Lanka's most famous wild life park. And it famous by leopard , in Yala, you have a big chance to meet a leopard , although big chance , but still hard to meet one ,it base on your luck.

This day , we depart hotel at 4 am , everywhere still dark , but if you wanna meet leopard , you must get up early , I just sleep for 2 hours last night .

Half day safari tour have two choices , one depart at early morning , one at noon , if you wanna meet leopard, you'd better choose the early one , animals will go out when weather is cool.

safari cost include entrance ticket , the ticket is count by Jeep, so if one Jeep is full with 6 people , then the safari price should be less.

When arrived ticket center , drivers will go to by tickets, we just need to wait on Jeep ,

When arrive Yala Park entrance , we still need to wait , we arrived just around 5:30 am, but the park open at 6 am, so will need to wait half an hour, there is a great sight for looking up the starry sky .

And when sunrise , we can drive into the Park ,the view also great .

We saw a group of deer, at that time ,he heard a sound "coo coo coo", our leader said when you heard this sound ,means you have a big change to meet a leopard .

Then many many Jeep stop here to wait leopard appear , this is a long wait and must have patience , maybe you wait for a long time but no any leopard appear.

Wait wait wait , at that time , I just look forwarding to see a leopard jump out from anywhere, then chase the deer .

We were lucky, we didn't wait too long time , a leopard appeared in front of us , then all the jeeps chasing him , but he just keep his gentle step and walked slowly .

He disappeared in forest ,then all jeeps wandered here for a long time , hope to meet him again ,maybe cause that's so hard to meet a leopard, so once they meet one , they won't miss it , but he didn't appear anymore, and he is the only one leopard we meet in that day .

After that , we also meet many other animals in the park , to meet animals all base on luck , you never know what time and what animals will appear , that feeling just like you are playing a collectible card game , you don't know what time and what card you would get , when you collect a special card , how exciting will be .
