Travel in Chengdu, DAY 2---First time to meet a panda

This day I almost stay in the Panda Base for whole day. as a Chinese , this was my first time to see a panda, so shame.

Panda Base full name is Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, cause too long , I just call it Panda Base. It's imitating pandas living environment , with pond ,river, forest of bamboo,sward and so on, total breed more than 100 pandas.

Panda in China is a protected animal ,as the less quantity , it's not easy to find in outdoor, if you want to see a panda , the easiest way is to Panda Base.

The map of Panda Base, you are not just can see pandas ,also raccoons, in the Moon Delivery Room, you also can see some baby Pandas.

First time to see pandas was refreshing my knowledge .Are pandas so big? ! When pandas sleep , they are hanging on the trees ! Pandas are so lazy, their life just eating ,drinking, poo poo , and sleeping !

The small pandas are so cute, rolling to a ball and sleeping at a corner, a shot turns to a panda ink painting !

Do you also want too hug a panda baby ? but that's not impossible , now in some panda base are opening the volunteer application, just need to reach some requirement and pay some cost , you can be a pandas feeder for a few days! Does it exciting ?

Below is raccoons, they are not so lazy as pandas, they climb trees always, sometimes they walk the tree just on top of you .

I went to Chengdu is at April, almost all pandas are big pandas, I asked the staff , they said breeding season in June to September, so if you want to see more baby pandas , should choose the right time !

Another , if you want to see the active pandas, you should arrive before 9:00 am, cause this time is their breakfast time, they just active when they want to eat , if you late come , you just can see the sleeping pandas.
